Agila Development Association, the apex umbrella body for the unity, peace and development of Agila has expressed  gratitude to the executive Governor of Benue State for the appointment of their son Dr. Elvis Ogenyi to the exalted office of Permanent Secretary in the state civil service.

The association in a press statement e-signed by it’s national president, Mr. Peter Otokpa  while congratulating their son Dr. Elvis Ogenyi expresses her profound gratitude to the governor for taking competent over sentiment in the selection of individuals in the running of state’s critical administrative unit-civil service.

“We are grateful to the governor for the  appointment of one of our very own sons, Dr. Elvis Ogenyi as a Permanent Secretary (PS) in the Benue state civil service”

Ogenyi’s appointment is one of the most outstanding gestures of the Reverend Father Governor in consolidating his administration structure for the transformation of the state especially in the state civil service.

“Dr. Ogenyi, one of the 13 permanent secretaries recently appointed by the executive governor of Benue state, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, is a very patriotic member of the association, well known for his dedication, selflessness and above all, the fear of God. We pray God to grant him more grace to deliver on his mandate effectively as expected to uphold the trust repose on him.

“The association while expressing their
appreciations to the executive governor of the state for always considering a square peg for a square hole, also communicates their gratitude to Chief, Dr. Mike Okibe Onoja, CON’ the Akanaba k’Idoma for always standing in the gap for equity and fairness, acknowledged the governor’s high sense of leadership qualities, driven by his zeal to take Benue to an enviable heights as the guiding principle which is admired and appreciated by all well meaning citizen of the state.”
