Chief Onoja Charges Idoma Personalities on Community Support for Development

The Akanaba k’Idoma, Chief Dr. Mike Okibe Onoja, CON has charged Idoma sons and daughters on the need to attract and support their community for development.
The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Defense (Rtd.) gave the charge at the Benue Rebirth Movement/Zone C Stakeholders Worldwide grand reception in honour of zone c illustrious personalities today at Armed Forces Mess, Lungi Barracks, Asokoro, Abuja.
The Akanaba k’Idoma who is the chairman of the occasion while acknowledging the significance of been honored by one’s home (community) as a testament of one’s supportive efforts in community development, says the award to honour Benue Zone C illustrious personalities is a noble and well conceived idea.
“I sincerely appreciate the leadership of Benue Rebirth Movement for conceiving this reward system of organizing a grand reception where our illustrious sons and daughters are awarded for their numerous achievements as well as their commitment to community and human development back home.
“While this award celebrates their past achievements, I wish to note that this honour comes with more responsibilities on awardees do more both in their personal endeavors and supportive efforts in the development of Idoma land, especially their immediate community”
Earlier, the national coordinator of the Benue Rebirth Movement, fmr. Chief of Defense Intelligence, AVM Monday Morgan Rtd. in his remark says the awardees were carefully selected from a white pool of nominees in recognition of their outstanding efforts in advancing their community and the region.
“This grand reception is the second of the series of event dedicated to honour individual who has excelled in various field both at home and abroad as a testament to the rich talent our region possessed.
” Today, we continue this tradition of recognizing and celebrating the achievement of those who have become the shining example of excellence and service.
Zone C (Benue South) is a reservoir of talents and capabilities with many of our sons and daughters making significant contributions across diverse sectors and it is vital we celebrate them ”

Raymond Omachi, FCA Permanent Secretary, Common Services Office, Office of the Head of Service of the Federation), Dr. Mrs. Mary Ogbe (Permanent Secretary, Fed. Min. of Mines and Steel Development), Dr. Vincent Isegbe ( Director General, Nigeria Quarantine Services), His Eminent, Dr.Oliver Ali Aba (Prelate, Methodist Church Nigeria), Barr. Mrs. Patricia Ori Kupchi-Iyanya(Fed. Comm. Representing Benue State in the National Population Commission), and His Lordship, Michael Ekwoyi Apochi( Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Otukpo).
