DSS, police take over Emir of Kano palace
Armed policemen and operatives of the State Security Service, SSS according to a report by dockaysworld have surrounded the Kano Emir’s Palace, Kofar Kudu barring entry and exit from the palace.
Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II is expected to escort the newly-appointed Wamban Kano, Munir Sanusi, to his district posting in Bichi.
It also reported that the Bichi palace is also surrounded by armed policemen.
It seems the security presence at the places is to maintain order and forstall crisis.
