Prince Omoi Obande Hails The Appointment Of Halimat Rose Ogaba Obande as SSA for Education/Gender Mainstreaming
His Excellency Prince Omoi Obande, Jarman Matasan Arewa, hailed the appointment of Hon. Halimat Rose Ogaba Obande as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) for Education and Gender Mainstreaming in Ado Local Government Area (LGA). The appointment was made by Executive Chairman Hon. Engr. Oche Sunday Oche.
Prince Obande lauded the administration’s commitment to competence in service delivery and congratulated Hon. Obande on her well-deserved appointment. He expressed confidence that her extensive experience and qualifications will significantly contribute to the advancement of education and gender equality within Ado LGA.
Hon. Obande, a native of Igumale, is a highly qualified educator with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from Benue State University (2006) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (2015). Her career includes roles as Principal, Lecturer, and Teacher at various schools and colleges across Benue State and beyond. Hon. Obande’s career highlights include:
Principal: Gloryland High School, 2010–2011;
Train International School Masaka, 2010;
Lecturer: College of Education, Oju, 2007–2008; Kwararafa College of Education, Otukpo, 2011–2022 (part-time).
Teacher: Isawa Memorial Academy, 2015-2017
Hon. Mrs. Obande according to a press statement e-signed by the Principal Private Secretary to the Chairman, Ado LGC, Innocent Igelle cLMiH, mPPSN also holds various relevant certifications and has been involved in several academic committees and projects, including work as Head of the Department of Theatre Arts at Kwararafa College of Education. This includes research focused on the role of drama in child development and infrastructural influence on education in Ado LGA.
