

PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES ENO EBONG AS SHE BAGS PRESIDENTIAL EARLY CAREER AWARD

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Eno Ebong, a distinguished diaspora christened by President Joe Biden among the 400 recipients of the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE) in the United States.
Associate Professor Eno E. Ebong serves as the Associate Chair for Graduate School in the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, and Biology at Northeastern University College of Engineering.
This prestigious recognition, established by former President Bill Clinton in 196, is the highest honor bestowed by the United States Government on outstanding scientists and engineers in the early stages of their careers.
President Tinubu commends Eno’s trailblazing feats and her remarkable achievement in Science, technology, and engineering.
Mr. President, however, emphasized that Ebong’s exceptional talents underscore Nigerians’ vast potential to excel both at home and on the global stage.
With Eno’s vast scientific experience, explored with over 20 years of research in cardiovascular disease cell and molecular biology, protein biochemistry, and advanced engineering design of analytical and biomedical devices with a strong publication record and recognition of accomplishments.
More so, Ebong trained in aspects of the bioscience industry and has experience in teaching, mentoring, and working within a corporate research environment, as well as applying her bio-mechanical and molecular assay expertise to identify new ways to combat cardiovascular disease.
President Tinubu looks forward to her honorees as she explores her multidisciplinary experience to benefit Nigeria’s development efforts which is in line with his Renewed Hope Agenda.
