2025 BUDGET: Senate Okay 1.6b For Fiscal Responsibility Commission

…expresses commitment to increase the commission’s budget.

The Nigeria Senate has okay N1, 697, 076, 574 2025 propoosed Budget of the Fiscal Responsibility Commission (FRC) for 2025.

This was as the Senate Committee on Finance on Monday at the 2025 Senate budget presentation and defense at the National Assembly.

The Senate upon the analysis and assessment of the presentation by the  commission’s Chairman/CEO, Victor Muruako Esq,  of the 2024 performance and the 2025 Appropriation, in a collective affirmative by  committee members on finance unanimously approved the budget proposal for the commission.

However, the chairman of the Senate Committee on finance, Senator Sani Musa while addressing the Commission‘s leadership upon satisfaction with the 2024 performance assured the commission of the committee’s quest to make a case for the increment of the Appropriation as requested by the Commission.

Earlier, during presentation, the Commission chairman Muruako had appealed to the committee to help make a case for an Increments to the proposed budget following the enormity of the Commission’s aspirations and target for 2025.

The chairman of the commission whose leadership in the commission received commendation at the he budget presentation and defence appreciates the chairman and members of the committee for their commitment and patriotism in their legislative engagement.
