Prof Yakubu Mahmood’s Fate As INEC Chair Shaky As Presidency Contemplates On His Sack
Having spent over 15 years of my age in analysing politics of Nigeria over the years .
My predictions married with current happenings in the National Politics , where those in the opposition parties are fast grouping up in secrecy to sack President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 General Elections .
And, with President Tinubu and his army of political gun shooters , already being aware of the heavy weighted reunions and regrouping of high profiled politicians across the length and breath of the Country .
There is a likely hood that the Chairman of the Independent National Electorial Commission (INEC) Prof Mahmood Yakubu , tends to be the next to be sacked by the Presidency .
From the feelers , and sources from the Aso Rock who obliged to be anonymous , disclosed that the rumor is reigning smokes and bricks within the Villa in the past two days , as the Presidency seems to feel discomfortable with Prof Yakubu as Chairman as they are feared to loosing trust on him .
Our source , revealed that there are plans perfected already to replace him with a renowned Professor of Economic from one of the Southern States who is currently lecturing in the University of Portharcourt, already penned down to take over from Yakubu .
This move according to findings , when achieved is a strike to dislodge all opposing forces ahead of the 2027 Polls.
According to unverified reports already circulating on the cyber space , the new INEC Chairman is to do the bidding of the President and the All Progressive Congress APC , and ensure they return to the Villa .
While this information is still pounded about as a rumor , Nigerians are keenly looking out to see how such plans will materialize in the nearest days ,
Even though’ many groups and organizations are warming up to protest against it .
Believing that it is too close to the Guber Elections in Anambra and Ekiti coming up later this year 2025, and as well as 2027, for a new hand to start .
All Eyes On The Presidency And INEC.
