The member representing Ezza South/Ikwo in the federal house of representatives, Hon. Chinedu Ogah has said that there was no stakeholders in Ebonyi State who has not benefited from the administration of Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, Governor of Ebonyi State.
Ogah, who disclosed this during an interview on Monday in Abakaliki, stated that those looking for the downfall of Ebonyi State would be disgraced.
He described the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Ebonyi State as accommodative, even as he expressed happiness seeing the likes of Senator Onwe Emmanuel in the thanksgiving marking the second anniversary of Governor Nwifuru’s administration and the defection of Hon. Humphery Nwurukwu.
He said, “We are lucky. And those that have been looking for the downfall of Ebonyi, will be disgraced, because the governor is doing everything to ensure peaceful co-existence in Ebonyi. There is much of mutual understanding in Ebonyi.
“And we in the National Assembly, will do whatever we believe we can do to support our governor and all our leaders. And our leaders are all together, they are working well. And we appreciate God for that.
“I’m very, very happy, because one person cannot do it alone. That is why sometimes, when people don’t want people to come in, I laugh at them. The more we are, the easier the job.So, one person cannot do it. Whatever God has destined is going to be. It’s turn by turn.
“As God has made it now, we are all together. I’m very happy. I’m very highly elated about that. And I still want any of my brothers to come in. Yesterday, I saw one of my elder brothers, Senator Onwe in the Thanksgiving. I was very happy.
“The other day, my brother, Humphrey Nwurukwu, last time joined the APC. That is very good. Because the governor accommodates everybody.
“There is no any stakeholder in Ebonyi State who will say , I have not benefited from Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, that is why sometimes I laugh at people that feel that people are contesting his position. They are free.
“It’s the duty of the people and the masses to choose who will go for them. Even if they are a thousand contesting positions, in 2023, in the party primaries of governorship, there were almost about five. But Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru emerged with a serious margin of vote.
“During the time of election, there are so many candidates in other political parties. Which Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru emerged, that is the sweetness of democracy. The masses will choose who they want and elect who they want. So, you know, they are coming, everybody is going to be accommodated. There is a big house. Everybody has his own room”, Ogah said.
