The federal lawmaker representing Ebonyi/Ohaukwu Federal Constituency, Hon. Pastor Eze Nwachukwu Eze, has said no amount of malicious propaganda will deter him and his team from continuing the good work they had started.

This was contained in a press statement signed by the federal lawmaker absolving himself of crisis in his community, Umuoguduakpu Autonomous Community of Ngbo, Ohaukwu Local Government Area, Ebonyi State.

He described the allegation as a deliberate attempt by desperate political opponents of progress to tarnish his image and distract him from the tireless work he had been doing in his constituency.

Hon. Eze Nwachukwu Eze who is Chairman House Committee On Banking and Other Ancillary Institutions, said that relevant security agencies had been engaged to investigate the allegation.

The statement reads; “My attention has been drawn to a disturbing post currently circulating online regarding an alleged crisis in my community, Umuoguduakpu Autonomous Community of Ngbo, Ohaukwu Local Government Area, Ebonyi State.

“The post includes a video in which some individuals claim to have been sponsored by me, Hon. Eze Nwachukwu Eze, Member representing Ebonyi/Ohaukwu Federal Constituency at the 10th National Assembly.

“Let me state clearly and categorically that this claim is completely false, malicious, and politically motivated. It is nothing more than a cheap and desperate attempt by opponents of progress to tarnish my image and distract me from the tireless work my team and I have done over the past two years to promote peace, security, and development in our constituency.

“Our commitment to a peaceful and prosperous Ebonyi/Ohaukwu Federal Constituency remains unshaken. This malicious propaganda will not deter us from continuing the good work we have started. I strongly condemn the violence and any attempt to destabilize any part of our constituency.

“I assure my constituents, the good people of Ebonyi State, and the general public that we are already engaging the relevant security agencies to investigate this matter thoroughly. Anyone found to be behind this falsehood and act of provocation will be brought to justice.

“We will not allow political desperation to throw our communities into chaos. Ebonyi State, and Ngbo in particular, have come a long way in fostering peace, and we must not allow anyone to reverse the gains we’ve made.

“May God continue to guide and protect us all as we walk toward a more peaceful and prosperous future”, Nwahukwu prayed.
