The Oak Centre on Wednesday equipped members of the National Assembly New Media Forum (NANMF) with essential skills to detect and counter disinformation using practical fact-checking and verification techniques.

The one-day capacity-building workshop reflects the Centre’s ongoing commitment to strengthening public resilience against misinformation and false narratives in today’s fast-evolving, AI-driven information landscape.

Participants also learned about various fact-checking tools and the ethical responsibilities of media practitioners.
