Flash back to yesterday’s devotional well show that handling issues in Christian homes can be simpler if one allows the Holy Spirit to be involved in anything we do. Human actions are spiritually oriented, either of evil spirit or the Holy Spirit. The four behaviours we discussed yesterday can be discerned and best handled when the Holy Spirit is involved by parents. Correcting ourselves or rebuking ourselves in homes must be done with the discovery made on one another’s behaviours.

The wise ones can be easily corrected by using the words of God instantly. This is that, the wise knows the Biblical Laws and will easily live by Biblical principles. The wise ones in the book of Proverbs are those who hear God’s with reverence to Him and do what the words say. The wise ones hear God and act on what they heard with the aids of the Holy Spirit. They know the benefits of the words of God and always increase their learning of the words (Prov. 1: 5; 8: 34). Parents should know that the “wise”, that is those who have love for hearing the words of God are to be allowed to learn more about God so as to be filled with the Holy Spirit. This is because, they can easily derail as they passionately continue seeking for new knowledge and increasing in knowledge.

The person with simple behaviour requires more efforts to grab Spiritual knowledge to handle. He or she goes to church and might look religious or living without immoral life. Yet, is like a child in understanding the words of God. The “simple people” hardly make solid decision on what the Bible teaches. The Biblically referred person as “simple” remains a child-like person in understanding the Bible. Parents need to combine prayers and constant pumping the words of God into the minds of the simple for the Holy Spirit to perfectly mold him or her up. The Bible said the simple is devoid of understanding (Prov. 7: 7). Parents with a child or children devoid of the understanding of God need Spiritual backing to turn such to become a good Christian. The Biblical “simple” person needs to be controlled with love and patients.

The beloved in Christ, there should be no slacking in partnering with the Holy Spirit for imparting the genuine Words of God into the life of our family members. The present world of twenty-hours-seeking for money should not be promoted above the moral and spiritual values of people in your family. It will do us more good as the rewards is everlasting. God will really multiply your home in Jesus name.

PRAYER:

JEHOVAH ELOHIM, let not the minds and hearts of people living within the same roof with me be hidden from your Spirit. Grant your servants in the churches the power to discern the inner thoughts of their members in Jesus name.
