APC Unveils Committees for Ward, LGA Congresses Nationwide

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the official lists of members appointed into the Ward and Local Government Area (LGA) Congresses Screening Committees, Screening Appeals Committees, as well as the Ward/LGA Congresses and Congresses Appeal Committees.
The development signals a major step in the party’s preparations for its upcoming grassroots congresses across the country.
According to a press statement e-signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka and issued on Monday in Abuja. While the committee lists were signed by the APC National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu OFR.
The party according to the statement called on all appointed committee members to carry out their responsibilities with diligence, transparency, and in strict compliance with the APC Constitution and established guidelines.
“The Party urges all appointed Committee members to discharge their responsibilities diligently, transparently and in strict adherence to the Party’s Constitution and Guidelines,” the statement emphasized.
The APC noted that the constitution of the committees underscores its commitment to ensuring a credible, orderly and transparent congress process at both Ward and LGA levels.
Political observers say the release of the committees sets the stage for what is expected to be a critical phase in the party’s internal democratic process ahead of future electoral engagements.
