The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed as false and misleading a report circulating in sections of the media claiming to reveal the price of expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 general elections.
In a press statement e-signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka on Saturday, the party said the purported “price list” did not originate from its leadership and described the report as entirely fabricated.
“The report is FAKE, and did not emanate from the Party,” the APC stated, stressing that “no decision or announcement has been made on the sale or pricing of forms for the 2027 elections.”
The party further described the publication as “a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination,” warning members of the public against taking the information seriously.
The APC urged its members, media organisations, and the general public to ignore the report in its entirety, reiterating that any official communication regarding the 2027 elections would come through its authorised channels.
