Contestants were therefore presented not only as beauty queens but also as young women with academic, entrepreneurial, creative and cultural interests.

According to information provided by the organisation, Miss Motherland Nigeria is designed to bring together young women from Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, as well as Nigerians in the diaspora. The platform also promotes cultural exchange and greater appreciation of Nigeria’s diversity.
