“With profound gratitude and a deep sense of responsibility, I humbly accept the mandate entrusted to me today as the Vice Chairman (House of Representatives) of the National Assembly New Media Forum,” she stated.

She thanked members of the Forum for their trust and support, assuring them of her commitment to inclusive leadership and collective progress.

“I sincerely appreciate every member of this great Forum for the confidence reposed in me through this election. Your support, trust, and encouragement mean so much to me, and I do not take this opportunity for granted,” she added.

Chukwukelue also commended the leadership of the Forum for promoting professionalism, unity, and effective media engagement within the National Assembly ecosystem.

According to her, the role of new media practitioners in strengthening democratic participation and bridging communication between the legislature and the public remains critical.

“The role of new media practitioners in shaping public perception, deepening democratic participation, and strengthening the bridge between the legislature and the people cannot be overemphasized,” she said.

The newly elected Vice Chairman pledged to work closely with the Forum’s Chairman, Clement Nwabuko, executive members, and the pioneer Chairman, Yemi Itodo, to advance the Forum’s objectives.

“As Vice Chairman representing the House of Representatives arm, I pledge my commitment to working collaboratively with the Chairman, members of the executive team, and all stakeholders to advance the objectives of this Forum,” she noted.

She further promised to champion ethical digital communication, capacity building, and stronger synergy among members while urging members to remain united and focused.

“This victory is not mine alone; it belongs to every member who believes in the vision of a united, progressive, and impactful Forum,” she declared.

Chukwukelue assured members that she would discharge her duties with “integrity, fairness, diligence, and inclusiveness,” while remaining open to partnerships and constructive engagements aimed at moving the Forum forward.

She concluded by appreciating members for the opportunity to serve and reaffirmed her commitment to the growth and relevance of the National Assembly New Media Forum.
