Oluwatobiloba Martins-Fregene, Certified Agile Practitioner, Program Manager, and aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives, has declared that the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is already repositioning Nigeria for long-term recovery, economic stability, and sustainable national growth.
Martins-Fregene made the declaration after participating in the All Progressives Congress (APC) screening exercise, where he reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to the party, commitment to progressive ideals, and readiness to support the President’s vision through effective grassroots representation and constituency-driven development.
Describing the APC as a party built on courage, reform, and strategic national leadership, he commended President Tinubu for taking bold decisions aimed at stabilizing the economy, strengthening institutional governance, and laying the foundation for future prosperity despite prevailing global economic pressures.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shown uncommon courage and statesmanship at a defining moment in Nigeria’s history. True leadership is not about temporary applause; it is about making the difficult decisions necessary to secure the future of generations yet unborn,” Martins-Fregene stated.
According to him, the Renewed Hope Agenda represents more than a national policy direction, describing it as a transformational governance philosophy that must be effectively localized within constituencies to deliver meaningful impact to ordinary Nigerians.
“The true success of Renewed Hope will be measured not only at the national level, but in the communities, wards, markets, schools, and homes of the people. That is why constituency leadership must align strategically with the President’s vision,” he added.
Martins-Fregene used the opportunity to unveil his AGILE CORE Framework, a governance and community development model designed to strengthen collaboration between the Federal Government, Lagos State Government, party executives, grassroots stakeholders, and local communities.
He explained that the framework focuses on youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, food security, innovation, skills development, digital inclusion, economic participation, and sustainable community advancement.
“Our generation must move from transactional politics to transformational leadership. Governance must directly improve livelihoods, create opportunities for young people, support women and underserved communities, and strengthen peace, stability, and prosperity across the constituency,” he said.
The aspirant further emphasized his readiness to work closely with the Governor of Lagos State, APC leadership structures, constituency executives, ward coordinators, community leaders, market associations, professionals, and youth stakeholders to ensure effective policy implementation and people-centered representation.
He noted that President Tinubu’s governance approach has created a renewed sense of direction, confidence, and institutional coordination across various levels of government.
“There is now a clear pathway for national renewal. What is required at the constituency level is disciplined execution, strategic collaboration, and leadership that understands how to translate federal reforms into visible grassroots progress,” Martins-Fregene stated.
He stressed that his aspiration is anchored on loyalty to the APC, service to the people, and commitment to policies capable of unlocking inclusive economic growth and sustainable development.
According to him, Lagos Island Federal Constituency II possesses enormous untapped potential that can be harnessed through structured governance, stakeholder inclusion, and innovation-driven leadership.
“We must build a constituency that reflects the finest ideals of progressive governance — a constituency where leadership is accountable, young people are empowered, businesses are supported, communities are secured, and development is inclusive,” he added.
Political observers say Martins-Fregene’s AGILE CORE Framework reflects a growing shift toward competency-based leadership and issue-focused political engagement among a new generation of progressive leaders within the APC.
For Martins-Fregene, however, the objective remains simple: to support President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope vision by ensuring that the dividends of progressive governance are felt across every ward, every household, and every community within the constituency and Nigeria at large.
