Benue 2027: Ogbu Picks ADC Nomination Form, Pledges Grassroots-Focused Representation

A 2027 aspirant for the Ado State Constituency seat in the Benue State House of Assembly, Nelson Ogbu, has officially obtained his nomination form on the platform of the African Democratic Congress, declaring his readiness to contest and deliver people-centered leadership.
Ogbu picked the form at the ADC State Secretariat,Makurdi, in what he described as a significant step in his political journey ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The event attracted party leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and members from Ado Local Government Area, who turned out in solidarity with the aspirant and his vision for effective representation.
Speaking after obtaining the form, Ogbu expressed gratitude to party leaders and members for their support and confidence in his aspiration.
“I deeply appreciate all party leaders, stakeholders, and the entire ADC executive committee in Ado Local Government for their support and confidence reposed in me,” he said.
He reaffirmed his commitment to delivering impactful leadership if elected, emphasizing inclusivity and grassroots development as key priorities.
“I remain committed to the ideals of quality service, inclusive leadership, youth empowerment, and people-centered representation as we continue this journey together,” Ogbu stated.
The aspirant’s declaration signals the early buildup to the 2027 elections in Benue State, with political actors beginning to position themselves across party lines.
Supporters at the event described his aspiration as a move towards strengthening representation in Ado Constituency, expressing optimism about his chances at the polls.
