The four landlords Communities of Abakaliki Cement Factory comprising Umuhuali, Nkalaha, Nkalagu and Amezu have declared that there is no other person(s) eligible to speak on matters arising from the establishment of the cement factory except stakeholders from the communities.

This was contained in a communique issued after a stakeholders meeting held recently at the residence of Senator Obinna Ogba at Nkalagu.

Briefing journalists on behalf of the stakeholders in Abakalki on the outcome of the meeting, spokesperson of the Abakaliki Cement Factory Landlord Communities, Senator Obinna Ogba, expressed appreciation to Governor Francis Nwifuru for the award of the contract for the establishment of the Brand New Abakaliki Cement, the successful execution and signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA); and the mobilization of the contractor for the commencement of the project implementation.

While commending the industrial drive of the governor and his vision to accelerate industrial development in Ebonyi State and making Ebonyi State an industrial destination, the stakeholders reiterated that the governor had demonstrated uncommon foresight by attracting strategic investments capable of creating thousands of employment opportunities for Ebonyi youths.

According to them, Governor Francis Nwifuru has stimulated commerce and entrepreneurship, promoting technology transfer, increasing internally generated revenue, expanding the State’s manufacturing capacity, and positioning Ebonyi State as a leading industrial hub in the South-East and Nigeria as a whole.

“Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru is rapidly transforming Ebonyi State into one of Nigeria’s emerging industrial and investment destinations.
Your administration has demonstrated exceptional foresight by attracting strategic investments capable of creating thousands of employment opportunities for our youths, stimulating commerce and entrepreneurship”,they said.

The Abakaliki Cement Factory Landlord Communities further reaffirmed their total support to the Governor for his re-election, saying, we reaffirm our total confidence in the administration of His Excellency and pledge our unwavering support for the successful implementation of the Brand New Abakaliki Cement Factory Project.

“We assure the Ebonyi State Government and the contractors of our commitment to maintaining peace, unity, security and a conducive environment necessary for the successful execution and operation of the project”, the Landlord Communities pledged.

“The Stakeholders made it abundantly clear that only the four Landlord Communities-Umuhuali, Nkalaha, Nkalagu and Amezu-acting collectively through this Stakeholders’ Forum, are authorized to speak on matters relating to the Abakaliki Cement Factory Land.

They said, “Accordingly, any publication, communiqué, press statement, social media publication or public commentary issued by any individual, association or group outside this recognized Stakeholders’ Forum should be disregarded by the Government, investors and the general public, as such persons or groups lack the mandate to speak on behalf of the four Landlord Communities.

“Such unauthorized statements do not represent the views, interests or collective decisions of the genuine Landlord Communities and should be regarded as attempts to create confusion, division and unnecessary distractions capable of undermining the developmental efforts of the Ebonyi State Government.

“We reaffirm that the four Landlord Communities remain united, peaceful and fully committed to the success of this historic project”, they stressed.
