Governor Alia Visits Benue Young Entrepreneur in Abuja, Reaffirms Support for Youth-Led Enterprise
Pan Afric Reporters
Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has paid a courtesy visit to a Benue-born entrepreneur, Mr. Dooter Igbudu, founder of Deesheild Empire, in Abuja, reaffirming his administration’s interest in youth entrepreneurship and enterprise development.
The Governor’s visit followed his return from official engagements at the 81st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 81) in New York and came shortly after the grand opening of Deesheild Empire, an occasion at which Governor Alia was represented by his Deputy, Dr. Sam Ode, Esq.
During the opening ceremony, the Governor, through his Deputy, commended Mr. Igbudu for his entrepreneurial initiative and encouraged the enterprise to create opportunities for qualified Benue youths as it expands.
His subsequent personal visit provided an opportunity for the Governor to further engage with the young entrepreneur, identify with his efforts and acknowledge the significance of Benue youths building viable enterprises beyond the borders of the state.
For the Saint James Junior Seminary Old Boys Association (SAJSOBA)–FA Support Group, the visit holds particular significance as Mr. Igbudu is a member of the association. The interaction therefore also reflects the enduring bonds within the Saint James community and the importance of recognising and encouraging members who are making productive contributions through enterprise and professional endeavour.
The development further highlights the role of young Benue entrepreneurs in contributing to economic activity, creating employment opportunities and demonstrating the capacity of the state’s youthful population to build sustainable ventures both within and outside Benue.
SAJSOBA–FA Support Group under the leadership of Mr. John Chenge, celebrates this milestone with one of its own and commends Mr. Dooter Igbudu for his entrepreneurial drive. The Support Group wishes Deesheild Empire continued growth, expansion and success.
