HIS EXCELLENCY, FR. HYACINTH IORMEM ALIA’S INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION AND IT’S CONSEQUENTIAL IMPACTS ON UNEMPLOYMENT RATES IN BENUE STATE

Spread the love

Over the past years, Benue State was only known and addressed as a civil service state. Where the only existing and popular industries with available means of survival for the teeming unemployed youths before the ascendance of His Excellency, Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia as the 7th governor of Benue State were Block and Okada industries.

Indeed the coming of governor Alia portends a salvaging movement that has catalysed into the presently ongoing industrial revolution. Which today heralds an era of hope and employment opportunities for the teeming despairing unemployed/idle youths of Benue State.

The presently ongoing massive governor Alia’s Industrial revolution in Benue State has successfully seen the birthing of the following economically viable factories in less than 2years into his administration (first in the history of Benue State):

1- The Benue Fertilizer Production Factory.

2- The Benue Sack Production Factory.

3- The Benue Polythene and Nylon Printing Factory.

4- The Benue Nail Production Factory.

5- The Benue Bread Production Factory (Now expanded for higher capacity/productivity).

6- The Benue Water and Juice Production Factory (Now expanded for higher capacity/productivity).

7- Benue Larger Beer Production Factory (Getting ready for commissioning).

The above industrial establishments has so far in no small measure created employment opportunities for not less than 7,000-10,000 Benue teeming unemployed/idle but, potentially productive youths (both direct and indirect job).

The following are the many more others industrial establishments still on course in Benue State:

1- Benue Tomato Processing Factory.

2- Revitalisation and putting into full scale operation and production of Benue Taraji Mills.

3- Revitalisation and putting into full scale operation and production of Benue Burnt Bricks.

4- The revival of Agasha-Guma Biofuels Project.

5- The planned establishment of Industrial Park in the 23 local governments of Benue State etc.

All these, many strategic moves and yielding steps already taken by governor Alia to wow foreign investment from foreign investors into Benue State and many more are some of the prospective and economically viable establishment spanning out of governor Alia’s Industrial revolution in Benue State has come with great transformative impacts on the state’s economy, value addition, unemployment intervention and development in general.

In the spirit of giving honour to whom honour is due, it will not be fair, justifiable or complete without mentioning and commending the highly recommended, innovative, creative, pragmatic, visionary, purposeful, result oriented, capacity personified, astute/seasoned entrepreneur and industrialist Dr. Raymond Asemakaha Jr. The MD . Benue Investment and Property Company- BIPC . Who has been that dogged, pushful, resilient and goal getter brain behind all the aforementioned feats (the successful actualization and establishment of this great Alia Benue Industrial revolution).

For the very first time in ages past, Benue BIPC and consequently Benue State in general is getting it right and good in great measure having Dr. Raymond Asemakaha Jr. at the helm of affairs at BIPC (A true square peg in a square hole).

All these in no small measure will churn out massive employment/job opportunities in no distant time for the great unemployed Benue youths considering the viability and capacity envisaged I this great Alia Benue Industrial revolution.

Sincerely, a very BIG thank you from the benefiting Benue youths constituency to governor Alia and BIPC MD. Raymond for giving us and the entire Benue State a reason to heave a sigh of relief at a crucial time as this that Benue State and the teeming Benue unemployed/idle but, potentially prospective youths were drenched in despair.
