DAILY HOPE DEVOTIONAL: FEBRUARY 17 WORLD’S HATE ON CHRISTIANS (3) Scripture: John 15: 18 – 21, 25; Rom. 8: 35 – 39
WE might have understood by now why the world hates Christianity. We might have discovered also that Christianity are hated because Jesus was hated. There is no doubt now that we are hated but the gang up of the world leaders cannot stop the move of God if we hold on to God. As a concluding part, today’s devotional will share some facts to attest that the present persecution on churches will add more souls to the church if the living Christians keep to their faith and intensify in prevailing prayers. Actually, Christians are being killed all days long. If we wait on God, He will make the churches become more than conquerors (Rom. 8: 36 – 38). It could be true that Islamic extremists, the Hindus, the Buddhists and other religious radicals have killed many Christians. But persecution on Christianity has ever resulted to bringing more converts to the churches.
This devotional brings word of hope and courage to all living Christians that the enemies of Christians will never wipe out Christianity. Those attacking Christians know that Christianity is the only religion that is purely against injustice and shedding of blood. There is no way the Bible asks Christians to follow anyone who left Christianity till such is killed. Many keen observers on Christian virtue are getting converted to Christianity from the strongest enemies of the church. For instance:
1. Survey was carried out in 2010 and it shows Christianity topped the three major world religion by population. Christianity had 2, 260, 440, 000 followed by Muslims with 1, 553, 773, 000 and the Hindus with 948, 575, 000 (source: en.m.wikipedia.org).
2. Another survey carried out in 2014 to 2015 from the most enemy-nations of Christians showed that 8.4 million Muslims were converted to Christianity in 2014 and 10.2 million in 2015 respectively. These converts were from the nations wagging the dirtiest war against Christians. We have the like of Afghanistan, Albania, Bangladesh, Algeria, Germany, to mention but few. It has to be clear now why more hate is being directed on Christians by the leaders from these nations. The Muslims and their affiliated religious members have agreed that from 2010 to 2050 Christianity must record the largest net loss, especially in Europe. As the world is approaching 2050, the hate will be intensified. Reason we are seeing the global attacks on the Christians.
By this information, Christians will be responsible for the population decline of Christianity between now and 2050._ *If we Christians team up in faith and prayers as one body, repent of our sins and cry to God, He will hear and fight every battle for us as usual (2 Chro. 7: 14). Major factors that will stop this, is spirit of denominationalism that breeds disunity. We Christians have to go back to the apostolic unity as it were in the days of the twelve Apostles. There must be joint efforts and perfect Spiritual unity amongst us. Anything less will see Christianity draining out as the enemies of Christians projected!
PRAYERS
1. Ask God to kill spirit of denominationalism in the minds of every living Christians globally in the name of Jesus.
2. Pray, asking God to return Christianity to the days of the earliest Apostles when all worked in genuine love and Spiritual Unity.
3. Pray and ask God to turn the battle field to the camps of all nations gone insane against Christianity in the name of Jesus.

The LORD is fighting our battles; we will soon see the Salvation of the LORD. Hallelujah!
