Hon Prince Ede Launches Solar Street Lights in Akpoge-Ogbilolo Ward

The Honourable Councillor representing Akpoge-Ogbilolo Ward of Ado Local Government Area, Hon Prince Francis Edeh  officially launched a solar street lighting project in Akpoge-Ogbilolo Ward.

The event which held at the Efoha Playing Ground, Agila attracted the traditional rulers, the Christian Community as well as councilors and other dignitaries from other part of the local government Area to witness the unveiling and launching of the new solar-powered lights.

 

 

Hon. Councillor Ede while unveiling the project emphasized the importance of renewable energy, states. “This initiative is not only to illuminates our streets but also to promotes  environmental sustainability. We are committed to creating a safer and greener Akpoge-Ogbilolo.”

The solar street lights are expected to improve visibility at night, and foster a sense of security among residents.

The project is part of a broader effort to enhance infrastructure and quality of life in the ward. The beneficiaries includes the Catholic Church, Methodist Church, Cherubim and Seraphim Church and the 12 clans of Agila.

The Community leaders expressed their gratitude to the Executive Governor of Benue State, His Excellency Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia and the Deputy Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly Hon Mrs Lami Danladi Lawrence for their support and shining examples of developmental projects.

They highlighted the positive impact the lights will have on evening activities and local businesses.

Present at the event are his colleagues, Deputy Leader, Ado Legislative Council, Hon Sunday Otse Ogenyi, Ijigban Ward Councillor, Hon Abraham Unogwu and Igumale Ward 1 Councillor, Hon. Otsapa Daniel Otse.
