Int’l Workers’ Day: Benue Deputy Speaker Lami Salutes Benue Workers

The Deputy Speaker of the 10th Benue Assembly, and vice Chairman, forum of Deputy Speakers of Nigeria, Chief Hon.Mrs. Lami Danladi Ogenyi, commends the tenacity, dedication, and commitment of Benue workers, to nation-building on this year’s Int’l Workers’ Day.

The Deputy Speaker according to press statement e-sign by her Press Secretary, Agbaji Samuel Atsonwu posits that labor possesses inherent dignity, as emphasized in Ecclesiastes, which underscores the importance of dedication to one’s endeavors. In this regard, she urges Benue workers to persist in their untiring efforts and contributions to nation-building, particularly in the development of Benue State.

Regarding the imperative of prioritizing workers’ welfare, Chief Lami, who is also a humanitarian, advocates that employers consistently make employee welfare a paramount concern, acknowledging workers’ efforts while collaboratively striving for excellence.

The Gimbiyan of Tawari further notes that Benue is fortunate to have a Governor who recognizes the significance of workers’ welfare and is committed to ensuring the well-being of Benue workers.

She offers prayers for God’s continued guidance and strength for all Benue workers as they tirelessly pursue their individual and collective objectives and contribute to nation-building, particularly in building Benue State.
