USA ADC Applauds INEC For Backing David Mark, Ogbeni Rauf National Executive

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) diaspora chapter in the United States of America (USA ADC Chapter), has decribed the recongnition of Senator David Mark as National Chairman and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as National Secretary, as a significant victory for Nigeria’s democracy.

This was contained in a press statement issued by USA ADC Chapter and signed by the duo of Prof. Mondy Gold, BOT Chairman and Dr. Ali Safiyannu, Chairman of the party in the diaspora.

According to them, the formal recongnition was an assurance to ADC members and all Nigerians that the ADC has been firmly positioned to contribute meaningfully to national development.

The statement reads: “The African Democratic Congress (ADC) diaspora chapter in the United States of America (USA ADC Chapter) extends its most sincere congratulations to the newly recognized National Executive Committee (EXCO) of the African Democratic Congress in Nigeria, following its official recognition by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

“We are immensely pleased to see INEC formally acknowledge the legitimate National Executive Committee, solidifying the leadership under Senator David B. Mark as National Chairman and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as National Secretary.

“This formal recognition is a crucial step towards strengthening democratic governance in Nigeria. It brings invaluable clarity and stability to our great party, assuring our members and all Nigerians that the ADC is firmly positioned to contribute meaningfully to national development and offer a credible alternative as we look forward to the 2027 general elections.

“The USA ADC Chapter stands in unwavering solidarity with the National EXCO. We are committed to supporting your endeavors and look forward to contributing our efforts from the diaspora to ensure the party’s success in its upcoming objectives. This recognition is not just a triumph for the African Democratic Congress; it is a significant victory for Nigerian democracy itself.
