HOPE DEVOTIONAL: JUNE 2 Topic: LIVING IN HARMONY WITH ONE ANOTHER. Scriptures: 1 Peter 3: 8 – 14; 5: 5; Rom 12: 10, 17; Psalm 133: 1

Living in this world is hard. The poor are neglected, the innocent are abused, injustice seems to rule and too much problems weigh us down. Sometimes it just seems too much. Discouragement sets in. But there is comfort in God. There is hope in Jesus. Jesus is the only one who can give you true comfort and hope. Hope that endures cannot be found in an ordinary person. Trust Jesus, just trust him. What have you got to lose? Haven’t you tried everything else? He is able to help connect you to a family that cares. Jesus can connect you to a family of believers that will cater for you, and provide for your needs. Are you ready to let him gather you in his arms? In prayer, lay everything before God- your problems, your discouragement, your broken- heart. Don’t hold anything back, give it all to Him. Then He will lift you up, and you will fly with Him on His wings of love. I therefore, welcome you to the family of God; where you can live in harmony with one another, without discrimination, tribalism and hypocrisy.

I would like to divide this topic into four (4) sub headings in the subsequent series to enable us dig deep into the topic. There are as follows:
* Right Relationship.
* Right Reaction.
* An attitude of a steward.
* Being hospitable.
I believe that God will open our eyes to deeper understanding of this topic in Jesus Name.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Oh God, my father, help me to connect with believers that will encourage me to serve you better, no matter how hard and difficult the world seems to be.
2. Give me the heart to love God, to love people and to live in harmony with people.

CONFESSION:

I have made up my mind to obey God by living in harmony with everyone around me.
