Dr Tejidini described year 2024 as “a year where significant number of cash grants and disbursements were made from the state government to beneficiaries of different categories, ranging from compensation of business owners affected by the road setback enforcement in Ilorin metropolis, financial support to Kwara indigenes affected by the inferno at Dosumu market, Lagos state, down to social protection support program where cash was disbursed to women who are into petty trading (Owo ishowo) as well as vulnerable youths in the state.”
