

Hon. Ogiji Igavu Returns to Royongo APC Mainstream, Pledges Loyalty to Governor Alia
Hon. Ogiji Igavu, All Progressives Congress (APC) party Chairman for Royongo Ward, has officially realigned with the party’s mainstream, declaring his unwavering support for Benue State Governor Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia and his deputy, Barr. Sam Ode. The reconciliation, overseen by Ado Local Government Chairman Engr. Sunny Oche, marks the end of Igavu’s association with the Agada faction of the party.
The move, brokered by Hon. Innocent Agasi, was witnessed by numerous Royongo ward party members. Igavu expressed his intention to resume his duties fully, contributing to the party’s objectives under the leadership of Chief Omale as Caretaker Chairman. He emphasized the importance of unity within the party, stating that “there are no permanent enemies in politics; rather, there are permanent interests.”
Engr. Sunny Oche commended Igavu’s decision, highlighting the importance of unity and collaboration. He praised the Royongo APC for their commitment to reconciliation. The visit concluded with the distribution of Food Vendor forms by Engr. Oche.
Hon. Ogiji Igavu extended his congratulations to Engr. Sunny Oche on his electoral victory and pledged his full cooperation in advancing the party’s agenda. Party members present welcomed Igavu back and promised their support in his endeavors.
