DAILY HOPE DEVOTIONAL: FEBRUARY 28 A SECOND TOUCH SCRIPTURES: Mark 8: 22 – 33; Eph. 1: 18; Phil. 1: 6
When you come in contact with Christ, let nothing come between you and Him, block out your past life, old religion, unbelief of other people. When you are alone with Christ, something will happen! There will be a transformation of God’s power into your life. “And he looked up and said, I see men as trees, walking “(Matt. 8: 24)
The man saw what he never saw before but not clearly. The lesson here is that, after God has done a great miracle in your life. Do not run away, but wait on Him, for more is coming. Something new and great will happen in your life and family again. If you do not run away after the first touch, the Lord will perfect your miracle. If He has provided for you, that seem not enough, He will provide for you again; if He has done something the first time, that is not enough, you only saw dimly, a new transformation with the second touch is coming your way. He will perfect that which concerns you, and will not forsake you in Jesus Name.
I am confident that His second touch and transformation will bring better, greater, and brighter things your way. The time has come to receive the second touch. He will open our eyes again, and give us a new vision; whatever we got before, he will give us more, and things are going to be clearer and better in our sights.
Eph. 1:18, our hearts and minds have eyes, and these can be dim, blind and darkened. But the Lord will touch your eyes and your understanding in order for God to work His miracle in your life. Sometimes in our work with God as Christians, we need a second touch to bring us back to clearer thoughts. The sinners need a second touch in order to bring them to God. Salvation is by grace through faith…and some may need a second touch before they will exercise faith in Him.
Have you put your faith in Jesus Christ? He is not willing that any should perish. Hand over your heart to Him today. Whatever your issue may be, Jesus wants to give you a new beginning, a fresh start, a brand new day, but you must draw near to Him in order to experience all turnaround blessings in your life.
Prayer points:
• Help me oh Lord to stay closer to you until you have perfect everything concerning me.
• Father God, Whatever I have gotten from you is not yet enough, I need more of your blessings.
Confession:
The time has come for me to receive the second touch of God; He will open my eyes again for new vision and clearer thoughts in Jesus Name.
