NASENI Opens Voting for #InnovateNaija, Calls on Nigerians to Decide Next Generation of Innovators
The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) has announced that voting is now live for its nationwide innovation challenge, #InnovateNaija, urging Nigerians to support and vote for outstanding innovators across their states.
The initiative, launched to provide a platform for Nigerian innovators to be supported, marks a key step in NASENI’s shift from policy to action in driving homegrown technological solutions.
According to the Agency, the public voting phase will determine the top innovators from each state, with the leading 15 finalists advancing to Abuja for a grand pitch competition.
Winners at the final stage will receive prizes of ₦100 million, ₦30 million, and ₦20 million respectively.
NASENI emphasized that the initiative builds on its track record of delivering indigenous solutions across sectors, noting that the future of innovation in Nigeria will be shaped by the next generation of creators.
The Agency called on Nigerians to actively participate in the process, stressing that every vote contributes to shaping the country’s innovation landscape.
