President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope In Action:Umahi Leads Urgent Infrastructure Intervention In South-East,Says Nweze

The urgent intervention by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration on critical roads and bridges across the South-East and other parts of the country is a clear demonstration of responsive and people-centred leadership.
This was disclosed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement (South-East), Bar. Mrs. Chioma Nweze,when she joined the Honourable Minister of Works, Senator Engr. David Nweze Umahi, CON, during his inspection of critical infrastructure in Delta and Anambra States.
According to her, she witnessed firsthand the seriousness with which the Federal Government is responding to the challenges confronting commuters and communities.
She said, “President Tinubu deserves commendation for giving the directive for immediate action, while the Honourable Minister deserves equal recognition for translating that directive into practical intervention with urgency.
“The inspection of the Benin–Agbor–Asaba Road & the First Niger Bridge and other critical road corridors further demonstrates that this administration is not only concerned about constructing new infrastructure but also about preserving and rehabilitating strategic assets that have served Nigerians for generations.
“The First Niger Bridge remains a vital economic and social link between the South-East and other parts of Nigeria, and the determination to restore, strengthen and preserve it reflects a government that understands the importance of infrastructure to trade, movement, livelihoods and national unity.

“The speed with which Senator Umahi has responded to emerging infrastructure challenges is commendable and reflects the leadership, technical competence and commitment required to deliver the Renewed Hope agenda
“On behalf of the people of the South-East, I commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his political will and commitment to ensuring that Nigerians experience tangible improvements in infrastructure, and I commend Senator Engr. David Nweze Umahi, CON, for his hands-on approach and relentless efforts to ensure that Federal Government projects deliver real value to the people.
“The message from these interventions is clear: no critical road or bridge should be allowed to deteriorate when it can be restored, strengthened and preserved. With sustained collaboration between the Presidency, the Ministry of Works, state governments and communities, we remain confident that the Renewed Hope agenda will continue to produce infrastructure that connects our people, strengthens our economy and serves generations to come”, she concluded.
