In yesterday’s devotional, readers were told that every human being is created on God’s purposes. Discovering this is the golden knowledge all human beings must note. This will put an end to believing you are inferior to others. Apostle Paul talked on this when he was talking of different vessels in a rich man’s house (2 Timothy 2: 20 – 21). Each and every vessel knows the rolls it was fashioned for. Jesus too knew the major reasons He came into this world. The author of this devotional wrote a book on “20 Justified Reasons Jesus Came”. In the book, 18 of the 20 reasons were given by Jesus. Preachers and Bible teachers have published 20, 30, 35, 50 and even 100 reasons why Jesus came to the world. Because Jesus knew the exact things He came into the world for, He could not be distracted from God’s purposes for creating Him.

God’s purposes for creating Adam and Eve were not for them to sit in the Garden of Eden enjoying, walking round it routinely every day. They were created first, to be God’s Representatives. They were created for recreation, not only bearing human beings but for recreating things which will bring meaningful life to people. For Adam, one of God’s major purposes for creating him was to give names to all things God created (Gen. 2: 19 – 20). If Adam had failed in this, human beings would not have known names given to animals, birds, trees, flowers, the insects and many others today. Brothers and sisters, if only we can focus our minds on finding the purposes God created us and pursue them logically, the world would have been of best place to live in. We brought the world to where it is today because we are all chasing things very personally. The more the years roll by, the more selfishness and love for selves over power the minds of individuals.

This devotional is of the opinion that discovering the purposes with which God created us for and pursuing the purposes exactly, would have made us represent God perfectly and our lives would have been fulfilled. It is after we had pursued our purposes and achieved them that God’s rewards of blessings are given to us. We are all containers of God’s purposes on our inside which are buried in our gifts, skills and talents. Circumstances we are inside are not strong deterrents to those who know God’s purposes for them. They go head on walking in the purposes, harvesting fames and honours. Many people born with physically challenges who discovered their purposes have turned themselves to great business icons, sport celebrities and so on. The beloved, do not sit out there blaming your inability to achieve fame on any one. Once you refuse to identify your God given purposes, you will continue living unfulfilled life on the earth.
