DAILY HOPE DEVOTIONALS: AUGUST 27 HOW SATAN SETTLES CASES SCRIPTURE: ECCLESIASTES 10: 8; PROVERBS 4: 16
We were told in the previous devotional that satan is the most influential being over the world. He exercises his authoritative rule of conducts upon people under him arbitrarily. Being who he is, satan intentionally and most often, indiscriminately raises legal suits against his victims. He gives out punishments outside legal procedures. Satan does not investigate to determine fair justices. Once one is found to have breached his laws, prosecutions and judgments are delivered without fair trials to establish whether one is guilty or not. As Christians, awareness of these satanic schemes is very important. Till date, satan and his teams are out to seeing that people fall out with God. Those with satanic assignment to cause the falling of the good people are denied sleep till their assignments are carried out. The Bible says: “They are denied sleep until they have done us mischief (Prov. 4: 16 KJV).
On arbitrarily judgments, satan and his team-workers subject those found guilty to various degrees of hardships, loss of lives, loss of businesses and properties. Satan and his legal teams do not go into settling cases with those been slammed with their offenses. In the natural courts, there are provisions for settling matters out of court. This is not seen with the satanic courts. Reason for this is that, before summoning one to their judicial circle, they have passed judgments already. The funniest side of how satan settles cases is that trials are handled in the spirit realms. One’s spirit is arraigned without the person knowing physically,.he/she is instantly judged. A good reason for Christians to be prayerful at all times, praying against such maneuverings
As Christians, we are to ensure that nothing makes us enter into the hands of satan and his loyalists. It sounds funny to hear some Christians saying they are more than conquerors, while ignoring building themselves up with God’s words. I had read Archbishop Benson Idahosa saying that “No anointing is too big for the devil not to touch.” All that satan and his loyalists do to pull Christians down is guide them into committing an offense. Satan knows that the Bible says: “Whoever breaks the hedge let the serpent bite” (Eccl. 10: 8). In the awareness of this verse of the scripture, those purported to have offended satan are punished straight away. However, Christians have the better sides of their alleged cases with satan and his teams. There is a court that settles Christians’ cases unconditionally. Look forward for tomorrow’s devotional.
PRAYER:
BLESSED FATHER GOD, guide me from all satanic intrigues which will lure me into their courts in the name of Jesus Christ. LORD Jesus, place me above the schemes of the devils in my Spiritual and physical realms.
